Introduction
ORB provides Gene Expression Analysis utilizing microarrays from the major manufacturer's including Agilent, Affymetrix, and Microarrays, Inc. ORB can also handle hybridizations for your ChIP on Chip, Methylation, and Comparative Genomic Hybridization (CGH) studies. In addition, ORB also provides follow-up validation of microarray results using the ABI Taqman platform, as well as comprehensive data and pathway analysis services. Our mission is to provide you with reproducible, sensitive, and accurate microarray results at a competitive price. In addition, we are committed to excellent customer service, full documentation of every phase of the project, and prompt service. Turn-around is 15 days or less for most projects. As part of our standard service we provide initial consultation on experimental design, and quality control reporting at multiple project phases. We offer modular analysis packages that ensure you pay for only the data analysis you require. At the same time we provide custom analysis (e.g. mRNA-microRNA expression correlation analysis) at very affordable prices. Follow-up support includes preparation of images for posters and grants, customized text for your methods section, and training on the use of pathway analysis software. ORB is currently offering special pricing of $350 per sample for complete gene expression profiling service on Gene ST arrays (minimum of 6 samples per order). Please Contact Us to initiate service.

Exonic Evidence Based Oligonucleotide Microarrays
Exonic Evidence-Based Oligonucleotide Microarrays are available in HEEBO (human) and MEEBO (mouse) versions, and represent the state of the art in oligonucleotide deposition microarray technology. The manufacturing process for these arrays has been optimized to maximize the density and uniformity of oligonucleotide molecules within the circumference of each microarray spot. This depostion technology developed by Microarray's Inc. , our array manufacturer, combined with ORB's proprietary labeling and array hybridization processing system yields unparalleled sensitivity in detection of low prevalence mRNAs. For more information about the design, content, and performance of HEEBO and MEEBO, please see our separate Exonic Evidence Microarrays Page.
Agilent Whole Genome Microarrays
Agilent's whole genome arrays are provided as dual mode gene expression arrays (one-color or two-color) for Human, Mouse, Rat and a plethora of other model organisms. Agilent whole genome arrays are printed with Agilent's SurePrint in situ oligo synthesis technology and cover more than 41000+ human, mouse and rat transcripts & genes. Agilent whole genome arrays with functionally validated 60-mer probes (70%) and standard Agilent labeling and hybridization procedures yield excellent gene expression profiling. Scientists at ORB have great experience with Agilent protocols and Analysis tools and cater to the customers ever expanding demands. For more information about Agilent's whole genome arrays, check Agilent's Whole Genome Microarray Page.
CodeLink Gene Expression Bioarrays
The CodeLink Gene Expression Bioarray System offers whole genome and pathway focused Human, Mouse and Rat bioarrays. CodeLink bioarrays are manufactured based on a proprietary 3-D aqueous gel matrix slide surface with empirically validated 30-base oligonucleotide probes. With a dynamic range of 0.05 pM — 50 pM and 1:1,000,000 spike detection, these arrays offer high sensitivity and reproducible results. ORB offers sample labeling and hybridization services for these bioarrays at affordable prices. For more information on CodeLink Bioarrays, please check our Human , Mouse or Rat Bioarray Page
Agilent Comparative Genomic Hybridization(CGH) Microarrays
Agilent's oligonucleotide aCGH platform offers genome-wide or customized profiling of genomic aberrations on a single chip. Agilent's aCGH microarrays are available for Human, Mouse and Rat in 244A (236000+ features) and 105A (99000+ features) formats and for Human and Mouse in 44K (43000+ features) formats. aCGH microarrays are printed with Agilent's 60-mer sure print technology and hybridized with ORB's customized hybridization procedures to give optimal results. For more information on aCGH microarrays, please see Agilent's oligonucleotide aCGH page, check Agilent's oligonucleotide aCGH page.
Agilent ChIP on Chip Microarrays
Agilent's ChIP-on-chip DNA microarrays allow you to study binding events of DNA-binding proteins to the human and mouse promoters, and other functional elements in human genome (ENCODE). These arrays are printed with the same SurePrint technology used for Agilents other microarrays. ORB offers hybridization services at competitive prices for all cataloged and custom ChIP on Chip arrays. To view a list of all available ChIP on Chip arrays, please see Agilent's ChIP on Chip Microarray Page
Available Real-Time Platforms
ABI Taqman Gene Expression Assays
TaqManŽ Gene Expression Assays were used as the Gold Standard in the validation of microarray data in the MicroArray Quality Control (MAQC) Project. (Nature Biotechnology, September 2006). They have been designed to run with the same PCR conditions, eliminating the need to design primers or optimize PCR conditions. TaqManŽ Gene Expression Assays have a high specificity & sensitivity and offer the largest dynamic range of any gene expression technology making them the preferred choice for validation of microarray data. ORB offers ABI TaqManŽ assay services including selection of probe sets, cDNA synthesis, Real-time profiling and analysis on the latest Step One Plus- Real-Time Platform. For more information on TaqMan® assays, please see the ABI-TaqMan® Gene Expression Assays Page
SABiosciences Real Time PCR arrays
PCR Arrays are reliable tools for analyzing the expression of a specific pathway or disease related genes. The arrays are available in 96-well format and include SYBR Green-optimized primer assays to amplify 96 different gene-specific products simultaneously under uniform cycling conditions. High reproducibility with correlation coefficients > 0.99, high sensitivity with as little as 25 ng sample, and excellent specificity is guaranteed with the PCR arrays. ORB offers PCR array services including cDNA synthesis, Real-time profiling and analysis on the latest Step One Plus- Real-Time Platform.
